Although most of our machines are equipped with Tri Mist oil collectors, there is still a need for general shop air filtration. We recently replaced our old units with two Pollution Fighter AR-5000’s manufactured by Northern Air Corp. of Raynham, MA. These are 4-stage filtration units with a unique automatic roll filter located on the intake. When airborne pollution builds up on the filter to a preset static pressure, the dirty media rolls automatically from top to bottom exposing clean media. The AR5000 delivers over 3,000 cubic feet of air per minute with the largest filtered intake in the industry of over 40”x40” and a 70’ throw of clean discharge air. We have seen a dramatic increase in cleanliness in just a few weeks of use and are excited about having cleaner air for our employees and the environment.
