Due to the overwhelming success of TWS’ first Caron TMAC MP system, they have added the tool management adaptive control to another one of their Tsugami S206’s. Caron’s strain gauge technology is the most effective way to monitor tool wear and breakage on a wide range of cutting tools. Since all of TWS’ S206s run unattended, the TMAC MP system eliminates the chance of running bad parts due to broken tools. TWS plans on outfitting a few more machines with the Caron system in the upcoming year.
