On March 22, 2017, Thomas W. Springer, Inc. purchased its second Haas VF-2 SS YT vertical machining center. This 40 taper, 24 tool machine with 12,000 RPM spindle and high-speed machining was also ordered with an extended table (30”x 20”x 20”) to accommodate larger parts. The machine is also equipped with a Renishaw wireless probing system and programmable coolant nozzle like our other VF-2. This machine will increase our large part capacity and give us the ability to meet our customers’ growing needs.
